2013 engines are approved

Published on by Kevdawg

After a meeting in Barcelona, the FIA approved a new 1.6 liter, four cylinder engines. They would take the place of the old 2.4 liter V8 engines. Rev limits would also be brought down from 18000rpm to 12000rpm maximum. This change is mainly to keep horse-power down as well as lower costs. This new engine is also claimed to last longer. Postponement is still possible though for the engines.

What do you think? Should the FIA get rid of the BHP filled V8s?
