Bahrain Rejoins the Calendar as Round 17

We recieved a shock at the beginning of the 2011 Formula 1 season when Bahrain withdrew due to political issues. There had been much deliberation on whether it would be part of the 2011 campaign. Today, it was brought back to the F1 calendar for Round 17 of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

 

There was another major tweak to the calendar as well. The innaugural Indian Grand Prix would the the 2011 finale instead of Brazil. Here is a look at the updated calendar.

Good to know Bahrain will be back. Even if India is the finale, it wont be much of a title showdown because vettel will have clinched the championship by then...
