Rosberg recieves Lorenzo Bandini trophy

Published on by Kevdawg

On the sixth of June, Mercedes GP driver, Nico Rosberg traveled to Bolonga, Italy where he would recieve the Lorenzo Bandini trophy for his remarkable drives in the 2010 World Championship.

Rosberg said, “It’s not just awarded for achievements on the race track, but also a driver’s mentality and approach to the sport, which gives it extra meaning. It is great to be given such an honor. But one thing is that this trophy is pretty darn heavy! I had to stop [the] photoshoot because it was too heavy for me to carry [any] longer!"

You will see Nico at the Canadian Grand Prix over this next weekend.

(Dads! The weekend of the Canadian GP is also Fathers' Day weekend. Happy Fathers' Day to all dad drivers in F1 and to all you dad fans and every other dad that I didn't mention!)
